Kreogenesis is a manifestation of my deep and constant desire to express, through image and sound, ideas and human traumas that affect some of us. These realities can take shape through different cinematic genres, genre being merely a vehicle for a broader exploration of the human condition.

Jamie Zampini is an independent filmmaker based in Montreal. Born in Guatemala and adopted by an Italian-Canadian family, he has developed a unique perspective on the human condition and the subtleties of relationships.

A graduate in Film Production from Concordia University and holder of an AEC in Graphic Design, Jamie combines storytelling with technical expertise. His self-taught background in music composition and editing allows him to create films distinguished by their aesthetic quality and emotional intensity.

He has directed six short films, two of which have been presented on the international stage, and served as screenwriter for the feature film L’Éveil du Mouton (2024). His work focuses on intimate and universal stories, exploring identity, memory, and resilience through deeply human characters.
